“You know, I was debating a whaler one time and he said: Watson, you say that whales are more intelligent than people. How can you say something so stupid? And I said: Well, you know George, I measure intelligence by the ability to live in harmony with the natural world, and by this criteria, whales are far more intelligent than we are. And he said: Well, by that criteria, cockroaches are more intelligent than we are. I said, George, you’re beginning to understand what I’m trying to tell you.”
Paul Watson (founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society) in our documentary “Citizen Animal”
“Because some kind of law, you can always get around it. People do. But if it comes from within, and you yourself feel this is wrong, then that’s going to lead to big change.“
Jane Goodall in our documentary “Citizen Animal”
“A dedicated documentary which literally gives animals a voice.”
Andreas Dosch, Stuttgarter Zeitung
